SLAY COOKING: EPISODE 1 궁중떡볶이

In this video I show you guys how I make my version of Korean Royal Palace Stir Fried Rice Cakes. (궁중떡볶이) This version of rice cake is the original tteokbokki and is very different than the more well-known red, spicy version.

It is honestly more nutritious (and expensive, because the spicy version usually only uses fish cake instead of beef brisket)
It was originally served in the royal court during the Chosŏn dynasty (1392–1910) and was considered to be a very fancy haute cuisine.
Fun fact: chili peppers were not introduced to Korea back then, which is why this dish isn't spicy.
