Daytona USA 2 PE Live Vision Cam

This is what happens when you link two Daytonas and set one as "Live" in the link settings. The machine becomes unplayable, instead functioning as a live feed of the race - complete with commentary!

I don't recall this being in any other Sega racers other than Virtua Racing, where Virt McPolygon would cheer (jeer?) you on via the Live Vision monitor.

I'm certain this was used very little in arcade settings as it essentially took a solid earner and turned it into a TV, but it was cool that the option existed anyway. I would imagine this would only be useful in tournament settings as it offers spectators some extra "eye candy" while waiting their turn.
