Music Hubs and the National Plan for Music Education - An introduction

On 25 June 2022, The Department for Education and Department for Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport published a refreshed National Plan for Music Education, setting out government’s priorities until 2030 for music education for children and young people from birth until they leave education. In it, the government confirmed that the Arts Council will facilitate a new investment process for Music Hubs.

This webinar briefing gives an overview of the National Plan for Music Education and outlines the changes to the new Music Hub programme including some early thinking on the investment process and what we’re looking for in a Hub Lead organisation.
