DCS: MiG-19P Farmer-B | Full Mission from Baltic Dragon! | Spud Considers Defecting!!

This recon mission over the Georgian Capital City of Tblisi really pushed the endurance of the MiG-19p right to the edge as I touched down at the end of the mission with the fuel gauge literally reading ZERO.

In the latter half of the video you can hear me deliberating my options, from defecting to the Separatists, finding a divert field, ejecting or over the Caucasian wilderness (All meaning certain death) until my superior MiG-19 flying skills allow me to make all the way home! Haha!

We have a situation.

It seems that the New Year celebrations have been used by a well - organised group of traitors from Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic. In the early hours of today we lost any contact with the units stationed there and the communication lined were severed.

It is no secret that under decentralistaion ordered by Comrade Khrushchev local party members of Georgian origin were consolidating too much power in their hands. They were also drafting an overwhelming number of soldiers coming from the Republic rather than from elsewhere, which could explain their initial success in their coup.

Most of our air units were stationed in Senaki - Kolkhi (3 squadrons of MiG-19s) and Kutaisi (another MiG-19 squdron and a squadron of Tu-95s) as part of our defences against NATO units from Turkey.

The command has also deployed two brand new SA-2 batteries close to Tbilisi. These may be active and may still be in the hands of loyalists or separatists. We cannot tell for sure.

Your task is to take off from Mozdok and fly south towards Vladikavkaz. Before turning south, you will push button 2 on your radio and then contact AMETHYST, your Ground Control Intercept station, located in Zavodskoy. They will guide you for the rest of the flight.

You will get as far as Mukhrani NDB at 520 kHz. There you will turn south - east towards Tibilisi.

Your orders are to make a low pass over Vaziani airport and assess situation there. You will also report back on any fighting taking part in the capital.

Vaziani has two squadrons of MiG-15s, it is likely that these have fallen into the hands of separatists. Follow the Ground Control station commands before engaging.
