Today we looked around Helio City, a huge apartment complex in Garak-dong, Songpa-gu. It is a new apartment that moved in in December 2018 after rebuilding Garak Siyoung Apartment. The landscaping, community facilities, and rest areas are well-organized.

Nearly 10,000 apartment complexes were built separately by Samsung and Hyundai. At the time of the sale, the 33 pyeong (84 square meters) was about 900 million won ($800,000), but today I checked the real estate on Naver and found that it was worth 2 billion won ($1.75 million). Each government has tried to control housing prices with all kinds of policies, but it seems to be not easy.

The number is much higher than that of Danyang County, North Chungcheong Province, with 32,296 and Gokseong County, South Jeolla Province with 29,995 people. The area is 1.8 times larger than Yeouido Park in Seoul. It takes 15 minutes just to walk from entrance to the end. The driveway to the underground parking lot in the complex is four lanes. Only emergency vehicles are allowed on the ground. The union is considering running a shuttle bus that circulates through the underground parking lot.

The complex was "recorded" from subscription. In November 2015, 40,000 people applied for 1,246 households (excluding special supply). It was the largest number of subscribers in Seoul since 2003 when the tally began. 1.8 million people have been invested in apartment construction since the construction began in December 2015. The size of the facilities they set up is also recorded. Twenty-nine elevators were installed in the complex. The combined area of the five shopping malls (about 50,000 square meters) near the main entrance of the complex is more than six times the size of the soccer field.
