2013 Northstar Laredo SC – Truck Camper Full Tour - Off Grid Camper!

The Northstar Laredo SC camper is rather unique in the Truck Camper World. Most campers are HUGE and heavy. This unit weighs in at 2,310lbs wet weight (full tanks) and just under 2,000lbs dry weight. It features a massive 40 gallon fresh water tank which makes extended travel off grid possible. The overall camper width is only 7ft (84”) which makes it much narrower than most campers. The narrower width helps with traveling on narrow forest service type roads. Center of gravity is lower than many campers at only 32”.

Our other favorite features include the Dometic acrylic dual pane windows which help to keep the camper warm in the winter and cooler in the summer. This camper can legitimately be used 4 seasons as the water tank and plumbing is inside. The floor is insulated as well as the walls and ceiling. The Dometic glass top stove is amazing to increase usable counter space. We also love the Midi Heki exit vent over the bed which is perfect for star gazing.

Overall it’s a well design and constructed camper that offers comfort and capability for those inspired to travel past campgrounds.
