It is designed to be Kia’s most affordable EV for Europe and global markets.
And importantly:

2) Long Range – 61 kWh

Range: 453 km WLTP
DC fast charging: ~30 min

The Kia EV2 brings electric power to the B-SUV segment, making EVs more accessible. Two battery choices, 42.2 kWh and 61.0 kWh**, offer estimated ranges up to 317 and 453 km (WLTP pending)***. With 400V DC fast charging, 11 kW and 22 kW AC options, and features like EV route planning, Plug & Charge, and bidirectional charging, the EV2 supports both city and longer trips while easing ownership.
The EV2 is Kia’s compact car for European households, offering ample legroom, flexible rear seats, and up to 403 litres of cargo space. It features triple-screen displays, OTA updates, and advanced driver assistance systems. With the EV2, Kia demonstrates how engineering, development, and validation can raise acoustic standards in the compact EV class.
