CBC News: The National | Emancipation Day, Canadian athletes set Olympic milestones

August 1, 2021 | This year for the first time, the federal government is recognizing Emancipation Day. Canada’s Andre De Grasse won bronze with a personal best run, while Penny Olesiak became the country’s most decorated Olympian. And, high jumpers competing for Italy and Qatar decided to share first place.
