Abstract
This presentation introduces an innovative learning approach that integrates the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) model with the Ethnomath-Domino Game to enhance students’ mathematical creative thinking ability. The innovation combines problem-solving activities, game-based learning, and ethnomathematics to create meaningful and engaging mathematics learning experiences.
The study involved 36 tenth-grade students from SMA Negeri 1 Gebog, Indonesia. The findings revealed a significant improvement in students’ mathematical creative thinking ability, with the average score increasing from 24.48 in the pretest to 81.94 in the posttest. The results indicate that the integration of CPS and the Ethnomath-Domino Game effectively promotes creativity, cultural awareness, collaboration, and sustainable education.
This innovation supports the development of 21st-century skills while preserving local cultural values through mathematics learning.
