Ihumwa Primary School Road Safety Awareness Activities | Dodoma City Outer Ring Road Project

This video highlights the Road Safety Awareness Session conducted at Ihumwa Primary School as part of the Phase IV Road Safety Awareness Campaign under the Dodoma City Outer Ring Road Project.

The awareness session was designed to equip pupils with essential knowledge on Traffic Rules and Regulations, pedestrian safety, safe road-crossing practices and responsible road user behaviour. Through interactive learning and discussions, pupils were encouraged to understand the importance of road safety and their role in preventing road traffic accidents.

As the Dodoma City Outer Ring Road Project progresses towards completion, educating young road users remains a critical component in promoting safer communities and ensuring the long-term benefits of improved transport infrastructure.

The activity formed part of a wider road safety sensitization programme implemented by PESACO (Proactive Law Enforcement for Safe Community) in collaboration with LEA Associates South Asia Pvt. Ltd. (LASA), TANROADS, the Tanzania Traffic Police and local government authorities.
