Hypo (Brisbane) Eastern Blue Tongue Skink (Collection Spotlight)

This collection spotlight shows off my newest all star, my Hypomelanistic Brisbane Eastern Blue Tongue Skink named Irwin. This animal is one of only a handful in the world outside of Australia and even rare in OZ. Irwin exhibits the visual trait of a pure true simple recessive genetic mutation, hypomelanism.
=========================================
This is a bona fide rare morph that is recognized in Danny Brown's book "A Guide to Australian Skinks in Captivity." The morph is called the double factor hypo or undefined morph found on page 181. It is considered a simple recessive genetic trait at this point.
