"Pięciu chłopców z Albatrosa"

Legendary song composed by Feliks Konarski (pseudonym: Ref-Ren) (January 9, 1907 -- August 9, 1991), a Polish poet, songwriter, and cabaret performer. Recorded by Mieczysław Fogg for Syrena-Electro label; appeared to be one of the last Polish recordings before the outbreake of the WW II - September 1st, 1939.
The song was sung also by Wiera Gran in the cafe Sztuka during her stay in the Warsaw getto.

It is a story about five sailors from the Albatros boat and a girl Mimi from the saloon which was visited by the mariners from the boat. She intensly liked them all and fell in love with the youngest boy. One day Mimi receives the news that Albatros sank with all the crew. She decides to be together with her beloved men-sailors and noone can find her anymore... -
