On the morning of February 22, 2024, this 22-year-old nursing student, Laken Riley, went for her usual morning run around the University of Georgia Campus.

But strangely, she didn't return home early as she usually did. So, around 12:07 P.M. that day, her friend reported her missing. Unfortunately, one hour later, around 1:00 p.m. the same day, the University of Georgia Police Department found her body in Oconee Forest Park behind Lake Herrick.

Her body was found with multiple brutal visible injuries all over her body, and her skull was severely disfigured, which suggested that her death was as a result of blunt force trauma.

But who could have done a thing like this to this innocent, beautiful girl with her life still in front of her? Was her death a random act of violence, or was she targeted?
