TWO THIEVES WERE ARRESTED BY THE SATFF OF PS PREET VIHAR, EAST DISTRICT AND STOLEN CASE PROPERTY RECOVERED
INCIDENT
An e-FIR No. 80006593/25 dated 18.01.25 of house theft U/s 305 BNS was lodged by the complainant Sanjeev Surana S/o Vijay Surana, Age 35 yrs, himself. The supplementary statement of complainant Sanjeev Surana was recorded in which he stated that on 18.01.25, between 12 AM and 10 AM, in his office G-9, 2nd Floor, Preet Vihar, Delhi, theft occurred, and the accused has broken the backside wooden gate of the office for trespassing in it. Chetan was constituted under the supervision of SHO/Preet Vihar and in the overall supervision of ACP/Preet Vihar. The CCTV footage of the office was checked, in which the accused person, covering his face, was seen entering the complainant’s office at about 12:15 AM. After seeing the body posture of accused, the complainant identified him as his past office boy to whom they have fired earlier because of doing petty theft of articles. On the information of the complainant, the old office boy, namely Arpit Singh, R/o Arya Nagar, Dayanand Vihar, Delhi, was interrogated, on which he accepted his guilt and stated that one more co-accused, Abhash Singh (his cousin), was also involved in the offense, and on the instance of the accused Arpit Singh, case property—2 laptops, 4 all-in-one computers, one LED TV, one monitor, one colored printer, a keyboard, and a mouse—got recovered that were taken into the seizure memo. On the pointing out of accused Arpit Singh, another co-accused, Abhash Singh, was also arrested, and on his pointing out, one monitor, one table lamp, a mouse, a charger, an adapter, etc., got recovered. Both accused persons, namely Arpit Singh R/o Arya Nagar, Dayanand Vihar, and Abhash Singh R/o Vill-Kakraha, Tehsil Tyothar, PS Suhagi, Distt. Rewa, M.P., got arrested in the aforesaid case. Further investigation is ongoing.
