7 Knots Slower Stall Speed! - KitFox SS 7 Vortex Generators Installation

How to install Vortex Generators?
Today we show how we got the PERFECT Placement for Vortex Generators on a KitFox Series 7!!! And how we took 7 Knots off our Stall speed.

Measuresments and Spacings:

Outerwing:
- The VG Pair is Placed in the center Between the Ribs, about 35mm from your Leading Edge, but More Importantly 5mm behind the "Hard" Section of your leading edge...
- The VG pair is Spaced 44mm (Center To Center, measured at the back) and at a 20 Degree - Angle to relative Air.

Innerwing:
- VGs are placed 50mm behind the Leading Edge
- Each VG pair is spaced 26mm (Center to Center, measured from the back) next to the other VG pair.
- The VG pair is Spaced 44mm (Center To Center, measured at the back) and at a 20 Degree - Angle to relative Air.

Roof:
- For the roof we used the same spacing and placement as on the Inner Wing.

Elevator :
- We found the placement recommended by most VG manufacturers to work the best. 50mm in front if the hinge. We placed a VG pair in the center of the ribs.
