Heifetz 2019: Bach, arr. N. Kitchen: Sinfonia [Prelude in E major] from Cantata BWV 29

At the debut Heifetz Institute concert at the American Shakespeare Center's Blackfriars Playhouse in Staunton, VA, new Artistic Director Nicholas Kitchen of the Borromeo String Quartet leads a student ensemble (violinists Danny Yehun Jin & Sophia Steger, violist Kate Moran, and cellist Hannah Rubin) in his own arrangement of the Sinfonia from J.S. Bach's Cantata No. 29, which itself is based on the well-known Prelude in E major from the Partita for Solo Violin, BWV 1006.
