JD and his colleagues have been teaching online group fitness classes since lockdown began. In this video he talks about the journey they have been on. He shares some online teaching tips and techniques, as well as Zoom tips for group fitness instruction. It took JD and his team a lot of trial and error to find the best way to use zoom for group fitness, but they got there in the end!

This video is less about the technology and more about what is really important if you want to be a great group fitness instructor while working virtually.

This conversation is a follow on from a MASSIVE post and video I created earlier this year. In that, I focused on the different equipment you could use to stream live online classes over platforms like Zoom and Skype.

Obviously, it has been a huge topic in this strangest of years and every day I am STILL getting loads of questions about microphones, cameras, speakers, mixers. It’s a subject that causes a lot of stress and anxiety! So grab a coffee, and listen to this conversation between JD and myself.
