Harm Reduction and Psychedelic Integration - Bicycle Day Symposium & Celebration in Asheville, NC

The Psychedelic Society of Asheville presents a panel discussion exploring Harm Reduction and Psychedelic Integration, facilitated by PSA Co-Founder Sarah Levine, a certified Psychedelic Coach, Clinical Herbalist, and Harm Reduction Educator. This panel was part of Asheville's premier Bicycle Day Symposium in collaboration with The Peal Institute

A bit about the panelists:

Heather Smith: a Certified IFS therapist and experienced guide, she has completed Levels 1-3 of IFS training and served as a Program Assistant multiple times. As the founder of The Moxie School, Heather empowers psychedelic facilitators with IFS-informed training, equipping them with the skills and confidence to navigate the complexities of inner healing. She leads immersive retreats and experiential programs designed to support both personal and professional growth, creating spaces where facilitators can refine their craft, deepen self-leadership, and cultivate profound healing experiences for others.

Jackie Dobrinska: An integration specialist, educator, and spiritual guide, serving as the Director of Education & Community for Ram Dass' Love, Serve, Remember Foundation and Integration Specialist at The Pearl Institute. She hosts the Ram Dass’ Here & Now Podcast and founded the Explorers Club, a community dedicated to examining the intersection of psychedelics, spirituality, and science through study, practice, and dialogue. Jackie holds certifications in Yoga, Ayurveda, Mindfulness Meditation, Holotropic Breathwork, and Western Herbalism. Through coaching, workshops, and community leadership, Jackie creates spaces for deep healing and self-discovery, empowering individuals to integrate psychedelic experiences into their lives with clarity, purpose, and embodied practice.

Star Rose Bond: A licensed psychotherapist, educator, and visionary working to decolonize mental health. As Educational Director at The Pearl Institute, she specializes in trauma, PTSD, and addiction recovery. Based here in Asheville, NC, she holds a bachelor’s degree from NYU in Social Work, and a Masters degree from Columbia in Social Work, with a concentration in contemporary social issues and gender studies. She offers regular trainings and consultations to organizations nationwide, where she helps to strategize and implement anti-oppressive as well as relational-based practices and policies geared towards supporting our most vulnerable and at-risk populations here in the U.S. When not working, you can catch Star being a rebel-hearted, loud-mouth New Yorker who loves live music, dance filled nights, bougie hotels in exotic places, psychedelics, banned books, and dismantling the patriarchy.

Dr. Sandeep Prakash, Ph.D.L: A psychologist and researcher specializing in psychedelics and digital therapeutics. He is Chief Scientific Officer at SoundSelf, where he leads clinical strategy and serves as Principal Investigator for research at the intersection of immersive technology and altered states of consciousness. He holds a Ph.D. from the California Institute of Integral Studies. In addition to his clinical work, Sandeep offers coaching and leads retreats grounded in Indian non-dual traditions. As an Indian American, he is passionate about bridging ancestral wisdom with modern healing practices, particularly through contemplative technologies and embodied transformation. A lifelong musician, Sandeep integrates sound and altered states into his work as tools for insight and integration.
