From Ghana to Kenya More Americans Are Moving to Africa

Americans are moving to Africa to live and work for every reason you can imagine. The growth of Africa's economy especially in Sub Saharan countries including Kenya, Ghana and Ethiopia is speeding up this trend.

While the pandemic has interrupted the flow of Americans to Africa, more Americans are likely to arrive as the crisis eases. From 2010 to 2018 Africa was the second-fastest growing destination for expatriate Americans. The digital nomad effect of people choosing to work remotely will bring more Americans into Africa, where the cost of living is usually a bargain.

As highlighted in this report, the huge tax benefit for Americans who live outside the United States also will spur more people to give Africa a close look.
