This ended up being a lot easier than I thought it was going to be, albeit a lot slower. The boss fight can probably be done without cheese or invis, but I wanted to prepare myself for the Outriders release tomorrow and make sure I got this done today asap. It ended up being on the first attempt (not counting the attempt where my game crashed at the start of the tank room), so I'm happy enough to knock it out quickly - even if it's mostly playing like a coward lol.

The boss cheese itself was one I found on the day it released to see what the Nightfall was like. A few people have posted videos about it over the last week or so, but it was something I discovered the first day when testing the strike. Another thing about the boss fight is how to know when the boss will stop casting the fire orbs. Generally after 13 or so casts (give or take one or two) it will stop firing those and just stick to the basic attack. It makes moving into the bubble to break the shield much easier.

Lastly, top tree invis once again is better than bottom tree as it can actually break tracking on projectiles. The same is true for this boss, it will cancel the tracking of both the boss and the fire attacks, making it safer to move around with if you need to. The downside being that you have less uptime on invis and you can't run a perma-invis build, but the invis itself is better. It will be interesting to see this done without invis or cheese, maybe when I have more time at the end of the season I'll see what that is like. For now, here's a clear of it anyway.
