An analysis of how Final Fantasy 15 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake handle combat in their respective games in the form of a design battle.

The games are very similar in a lot of ways but there are some key differences in how they handle combat. Action RPGs are very flexible in how they can structure combat and the systems surrounding it. I find it particularly interesting considering both titles are from the same series and can showcase how small changes can have a big effect.
