How To Bake Napoleon Dessert (Mille-feuille) Persian & Russian Style
Life Factory teaches you how to make the best Napoleon Dessert (Mille-feuille) you've ever had!
Napoleon Dessert (Persian Style):
Ingredients
• 2 cup (256 gram) granulated sugar
• 4 cup (512 gram) heavy cream
• One pack puff pastry sheet (6 sheets)
• 1/4 cup (32 gram) pistachio – for sprinkling
• 1/4 cup (32 gram) powdered sugar – for sprinkling
Directions
1- Thaw the puff pastry according to the package directions.
2- Preheat the oven to 400 C (752 ºF) degrees and cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
3- Divide each pastry into fourths. giving you 4 squares of pastry. Lay the square on the baking sheet.
4- Bake for 35-40 minutes.
5- Remove from the oven and let cool completely before assembly.
6- Whip cold heavy cream and sugar util the mixer is thickened.
7- Lay one sheet of baked puff pastry on a serving dish and spread about a 1/2-inch (1.5cm) thick layer of pastry cream evenly over the top.
8- Layer another pastry over the cream, repeat with another 1/2-inch (1.5cm) thick layer of pastry cream, and top with a third pastry. Press on the top of the Napoleon slightly just to evenly distribute the layers.
9- Repeat with the remaining pastry and pastry cream. Cover the Napoleons with pastry crumbs.
10- Dust the tops of each Napoleon with a thick layer of powdered sugar and pistachio.
