Cowboys Kenny Clark Highlights and Thoughts

With Matt Eberflus running this new defensive system, Kenny Clark could be a strong fit as a pass-rushing defensive tackle on this aggressive, attacking front. Pairing him with Osa Odighizuwa on the interior could give the Cowboys a disruptive 1-2 punch.

My main reservation is Clark’s foot injury. He played through it last season, which clearly affected his performance compared to his previous Pro Bowl level of play. In 2023, Clark notched 7.5 sacks and 9 tackles for loss, showing he can still generate interior pressure when healthy. However, his efficiency dipped when dealing with that lingering foot issue.

If Clark is fully healthy entering the 2025 season, the Cowboys could finally have the interior pass-rush presence they’ve lacked for years. A healthy Clark alongside Osa would free up the edge rushers and make Eberflus’ system far more dangerous.
