Making a Change Gear for a Proxxon Lathe from Spare Parts

I made a change gear to allow me to cut a 0.6mm pitch thread, which the stock Proxxon change gears can't do. As I haven't completed the tooling I need to cut gears from raw stock, I made it by buying a gear and a pulley from eBay, machining them to the right place and joining them together. The end result is unusual looking, but works just fine.

24 tooth module 1 steel gear for radio controlled car.
15XL 1/5" Pitch 6mm Bore 15 Teeth Drive Belt Wheel Timing Pulley
12mm round brass rod
