Tricking Players Into Analyzing Their Own Gameplay
It’s easy to judge other peoples’ Rocket League replays, but can people recognize their own gameplay or will they coach themselves while having no idea it’s them?
This is what I set out to find the answer to in the form of a harmless prank. I took 5 Rocket League players from my Discord to analyze a replay without knowing that it’s their own gameplay.
I told them the gameplay belongs to someone one rank below them and their job is to give tips to get to their own rank.
