In March 2026, Apple quietly released a warning about an attack type that’s gone up by 500% in the last six months. 
 
It’s a simple attack that affects every operating system: Windows, Mac, Linux, and it makes you paste a command into a box to prove you’re human. 
 
Once you complete it, you’ve just installed malware on your own computer. 
 
For years the industry has trained people to follow weird instructions online: to click on traffic lights, or type out distorted text, to jump through hoops just to prove you’re not a bot. 
 
Now the crooks are on to it and they're using that conditioning against you. 
 
Your users have been trained to comply. 
 
CAPTCHA was never going to be the answer, and now it’s the attack surface.
