NEI Stargardt Q&A Live Event 2021

Stargardt is a rare genetic eye disease that happens when fatty material builds up on the macula — the small part of the retina needed for sharp, central vision. Vision loss from Stargardt usually starts in childhood. The National Eye Institute is looking for participants for a new clinical trial related to treatments for Stargardt disease! Tune in as the lead investigator Dr. Brian Brooks answers questions about Stargardt disease — and the new study.
