What if the key to successful language learning isn’t just better materials — but stronger communities?

In this webinar, Fu-lan Lee from Taiwan will share her experience of living in Poland for eight years and learning Polish through real-life immersion. She will reflect on how community shaped her language journey and inspired her to create her own initiatives after returning to Taiwan.

Fulan is the founder of Mandarin Picnic and Language Walk, two community-based events in Taipei that bring learners together in relaxed, interactive settings. Through these projects, she has turned language learning into a shared and motivating experience.

In this session, we’ll explore how engaged learning communities boost motivation, create meaningful speaking opportunities, reduce fear of mistakes, and foster genuine cultural exchange.
