Indesign can't export jpgs FIXED & SOLVED

I was having a nightmare when all of a sudden Indesign was not exporting jpgs. It would go through the whole epxort process but nothing resulted - so...good old google search found a forum where I discovered it was in the file name that was causing the issue - the forward slash. I changed that forward slash / to a dash - and it resolved the issue - Indesign now correctly exports jpgs (and pngs for that matter). The forward slash issue doesn't affect pdfs exporting btw. Lesson learned never to save my file names with a forward slash in the future.
