CHATEAU STORY 2: FRENCH PROPERTY SEARCH AND FINDING THE CHATEAU
In this vlog, our chateau story continues with the chronicles of our French road trip in the summer of 2019, when we spent six weeks house hunting in France. We did a whistle-stop tour of 12 French departments, in our family caravan that we had bought just for this purpose and as if we needed to live in it later on. Living in the caravan wasn’t easy and neither was driving it either – there were many issues!

We give you the highs, the lows and tell you the story of how we found the chateau – it wasn’t what we were expecting, was it fate again?

Also in this vlog episode, there is original footage from when we viewed the chateau that summer and we talk about why we made an about turn and decided to buy a chateau, instead of continuing with the search for an old farmhouse and downsizing our life.
