The new Seamasters are here. After two months of waiting, they finally drop and its a good mix of the expected and pleasant surprises. Omega brought some great options here with a focus on the vintage slash heritage lovers out there. (full disclosure, i'm one of them)

First created in 1957, the Seamaster 300 represents one of most famous watches in underwater history. Today, OMEGA has gone back to the start of the story, with a new vintage-inspired collection that embraces the past, while also offering the best in modern precision.

Today’s new collection offers 41 mm timepieces delivered in classic stainless steel. While remaining true to the heritage look, the style is thinner than previous versions thanks to the new domed sapphire glass, while the thinner bezels are crafted from an oxalic, anodized-treated aluminium for increased hardness.

Through the sapphire crystal on the caseback, wearers can view the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912. The movement and full watch are certified as a Master Chronometer, approved by METAS, and resistant to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss. The calibre features a free-sprung balance with silicon balance spring, two barrels mounted in series, and is automatic winding in both directions.

* The new 300M Black Black will retail at 8650 dollars and will be in stores are July 2021
* The new Seamaster 300 models will be priced at 6100 dollars on the strap and 6500 on the bracelet. these will be available on April.
* the bronze gold model will be available at 11,600 dollars on June 2021.

Over all the new releases are a good mix of minor updates on a popular line such as the 300 heritage and new pieces we've not seen before from omega. It's pleasant to see that the blue seamaster 300 is now available on steel when previously this is only available on titanium.

Omega finally throws in its hat on the bronze ring with the new Bronze gold seamaster. It's bold it warms the right feelings but the price is a bit steep. The black black diver 300m probably did the most out of all the releases in terms of technology but is ironically overshadowed by the bronze gold. It's nice to see that the full ceramic model didnt break the 9 grand mark.

Omega finally caved in to the new bronze age of watch making. As much as i dont see rolex following suit on this trend, seeing omega release a bronze watch the omega way is certainly an high-end option to keep in mind.
