Sebart Mini BAe Hawk with Kingtech K45G3 onloan
Pilot Heng has a very unlucky encounter with Kingtech K45G3. Received the micro turbine from local dealer during Dec 2019, burned two ECU on ground test. Send the completed set of K45G3 back to Kingtech factory for repair and was returned within the same month. After driving 2 hours starting at 5 a.m. from Singapore to the flying site in Malaysia, his "brand new" Kingtech K45G3 ECU shorted out upon powering up for his first flight of the day.
Pilot JH, owner of the Sebart Mini BAe Hawk, pass his transmitter to Pilot Heng after completed two successful flights so that Pilot Heng don't have return to Singapore without a single flight. As this is the first time Heng flown the Mini BAe Hawk, his landing was a bit hot.
Update : Pilot had received a new K30G3 to replace his unlucky copy. The new turbine had successfully maiden on the 18/01/2020 in his Viper Jet. Unlucky flyer with a happy ending thanks to Kingtech support.
