Dennie Christian - Beer Barrel Polka (Rosamunde)

Dennie Christian, the stage name of Bernhard Althoff, was born in Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, on May 22, 1956. He is a Schlager music singer, a popular musical genre in Germany and the Netherlands. His most successful song was "Rosamunde", a version of "Beer Barrel Polka", released in 1974. This song reached the charts in Germany, Austria, Holland and Switzerland. In the Netherlands one of his biggest hits was also "Guust Flater en de Marsupilami", released in 1985. Very popular in the countries of Germanic origin, Dennie Christian may be a little less known in other countries due to his strong regionalism, but he still maintains a faithful legion of fans and listeners for more than 40 years in the countries of central Europe.
