Stop Configuring Your Keyboard Like a Peasant

You're probably configuring your keyboard like a peasant right now. Clicking sliders, dragging boxes, exporting firmware, and hoping it just works. That's fine if you just want to change a few keys. But if you actually want to understand how your keyboard works, and take control of it, you need to stop using the GUI and start using ZMK the right way.

In this video, we're going from zero to full ZMK setup. We'll create a github repo, clone it, edit it in Neovim, or whatever editor you use, commit our changes, and flash the firmware into the keyboard.

I'm going to explain what ZMK even means, how layers work, how to add behaviors, and how to use things like homerow mods. I'll show you everything using my glove80 keyboard, but if you have something else, don't worry. The idea is the same, just check your keyboard's page.

By the end, you'll know exactly how to configure your keyboard the right way. No more web GUIs, no more guessing. Just pure control.
