Frankfurt is a city that Queen always gave great performances in, so you should expect no less here. The band are on fire like most Euro Hot Space shows, and this is the first show on the tour where Freddie's voice seems to have fully settled in (it would still get better from here on, but he's no longer cracking on every song). Liar is performed in full for the final time at this show, and it's an excellent version of the song with all the unique touches that defined the song during this era. Liar would be played on the Works Tour as part of the medley, and the main riff of the song would then be used as a transition piece between Seven Seas of Rhye and Tear It Up on the Magic Tour.
