JAWA 573 Ultrasport (JAWA 559 goes Supersport) - testing advanced Libenak power...
....and this is how it goes... still with original “pipeline” exhausts. A lot of torque between 3000 and 4500 rpm... Almost impossible to start the bike without using the decompression valve additionally installed into the cylinder head. That‘s where the unusual fizzle sound comes from at the beginning.
The engine is a wild mix of 353, 559, 579, 557 Libeňák and many many home made parts. Bore 77 mm, Stroke 75 mm, Estimated 30 HP. Primary gear ratio 1,96; (24 / 47) secondary: 2,30 (20 / 46).
The top speed performance is almost 150 kmph (GPS checked) and this is how I got there:
