It was time for another trip in the SeaDoo Fish Pro. This video couldn't happen without Route 1 Motorsports in Malabar, Florida. Go check them out and tell them I sent you.

I've got to start by saying if you go offshore on any boat, big or small, make sure you have the proper safety gear. Aside from the required gear like life jackets, flares, and a horn, I highly suggest some sort of satellite device to alert others if you are in trouble. I use a Garmin Inreach which is a type of satellite phone. They cost about $16/month and give you the ability to text anyone from anywhere and gives them your location, no cell phone service needed. The Inreach also features a S.O.S. button that sends a signal to Coast Guard if you are in trouble.

Now time for the fun part. We left mid morning and while it wasn't crazy rough, there was a good chop on the water but we decided to still give it a shot. It was worth it to me, we used about 8 gallons of gas on a trip of about 40 miles.
