According to a newsletter from the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and reports from early 2025, the Kerala PSC has significantly outpaced other state Public Service Commissions in the number of appointments made. For instance, between January and June 2024, Kerala PSC issued 18,051 advice memos, while the total number of memos issued by all other state commissions combined stood at 30,987. This indicates a remarkable efficiency and commitment to public sector recruitment in Kerala.
The state government has also highlighted this achievement, stating that a significant percentage of total government appointments in the country are made in Kerala through its PSC. This emphasis on job creation through a transparent and structured recruitment process is a notable aspect of the Kerala PSC's performance.
