Optimus Polaris Optifuel Stove and Optimus Terra HE Cook Set

I find myself wanting to go on some camping and backpacking trips, but my knowledge and equipment are a bit lacking. Many of the places I want to go do not allow fires or alcohol stoves for much of the year, so that leaves liquid and gas fuel stoves with shutoff valves. I got the Optimus Polaris Optifuel stove based on features. It is much lighter and more compact than my old Coleman Dual-Fuel Dual-Burner stove, but not as light or compact as a gas canister stove. I also got the matched Optimus Terra HE Cook Set, which is my first foray into the world of outdoor-specific cookware. I performed some tests and presented the results. These are some of the things I would have liked to see before purchasing.

I'd also like to pick up something like the lighter Optimus Crux Weekend HE Cook System to try. Obviously, the choice of stove and cook set will depend on trip type (car camping vs backpacking vs canoeing), duration, number of people, etc, but it's nice to have options available. I'm not particularly interested in stove systems like the MSR Windboiler/Reactor or Jetboil because I think they are a bit too specialized. With those, it seems they might not work well if you want to use a different pot (like your buddy's) on your stove or your pot on a different stove (like your buddy's). These two Optimus systems seem more flexible.

I forgot to mention in the video that I used white gas fuel.
