This time, I'm focusing on how MLMs use religious rituals, language, and theology to manipulate people. I discuss Monat, doTERRA, and some others here, but the concepts I explain apply to any MLM / pyramid scheme out there. Multilevel Marketing conventions, motivational speeches, network marketing books, recruiting a downline, and so much more in MLMs draw on religious manipulation tactics.
