Andy Timmons Plays Prelude/Beauty In Stillness (For Jason Becker)

In April of 2021 Herman Li of Dragonforce put together an amazing guitar auction to help Jason Becker's family with medical expenses and I gladly donated an Ibanez signature of mine. In addition, he invited me to do a live broadcast on Twitch to jam and chat. In preparation, I wanted to re-visit Jason's incredible work form the '80s but also check out his more recent work that he remarkably achieves considering his considerable physical limitations. His record Triumphant Hearts from 2018 really resonated with me as I could hear so much diverse influence, particularly from the classical work. I was listening to great deal of Chopin and Debussy at the time and was inspired to write a piece for Jason and play it live on the show w/Herman.This song will eventually be included in an upcoming release titles "Bitter Suites: The Outlier Nocturnes" Thank you Jason for the inspiration and for showing us all what the human spirit is capable of despite incredible obstacles.
