Police use teargas and water cannons as football fans join retirees' protest, sparking clashes.

Police use tear gas and water cannons as clashes erupt after hundreds of football fans join a demonstration for retirees' rights in Buenos Aires.

According to reports, at least 150 people were arrested, and dozens were injured.

The retirees gather every Wednesday in small groups to protest against the government's cuts to their pensions under President Javier Milei.

Fans flocked to support the retirees after a video of a retired man wearing a Chacarita FC shirt being beaten by police earlier had sparked outrage.
