SOLD - We are pleased to offer for immediate sale this beautiful 1973 MGB Roadster. One of the most important and instantly recognizable British sports cars of the past century, the MGB was built from 1967 to 1980 in both Coupe and Roadster body styles. Our car is an early car with the more discreet chrome bumpers and chrome wire wheels. Power is supplied by the 1.8ltr B Series engine fitted with twin SU carbs and transferred to the rear wheels by a 4 speed manual gearbox with overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears.

Fully restored in 2015, the car is stunning in Old English White with black leather seats, anthracite carpets and MG overmats. Inertia reel seat belts are fitted for safe touring along with a 3 spoke wooden rimmed steering wheel, modern retro look stereo and tonneau cover.
There is a sales invoice in the history file from when our client purchased the car in 2018 for £21,995. The following year he decided to improve the car mechanically to his high standards by fully rebuilding the suspension and brakes and fitting electronic power steering. All lubricants including the gearbox, rear axle and overdrive were also changed and a full service was performed. There is an invoice on file for £7,782 for this work, this was less than 300 miles ago due to very little use in 2020 - the car is being sold due to lack of use and offers a fabulous opportunity to own a beautiful turn key example ready to enjoy immediately.
