Der Die Das? | German Genders Explained | Tips, Tricks and Hacks
Is it der, die or das? What gender, which article to use for German nouns?
In this video you can learn ALL existing tips, tricks and hacks how to figure out the gender of each and every noun.
There are 3 different ways how to determine the gender of a noun:
- biological sex
- meaning
- suffix
The last one, suffixes, is probably the easiest way to remember the gender of German nouns. Specially when you are a beginner this hack makes it much easier for you to memorize the right articles.
At the end of the video there is a bonus tip in case you have no idea which gender to use. And another tip: Always, ALWAYS learn the nouns together with the definite articles! Like this you can speed up your learning process a lot.
