Hall of Fame Writer on Story of Rare Song That Became an 1989 Classic Rock Hit | Professor of Rock

Coming up a Hall of Fame Songwriter Billy Steinberg tells the story of working with one of Rock and Roll's Founding Fathers, the great Roy Orbison. Roy has electrified everyone from Elvis to Bob Dylan. He passed away in 1988 but in this mini documentary we get some wonderful insight into his essence. How Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly got Roy to record their song and how after Roy passed, Jeff Lynne reconstructed the vocal and music to release the recording to the world and how the song called "I Drove All Night" was cut by Cyndi Lauper and became a hit in the 80s.
