1960s Black Country Documentary

This is mainly for family, but those of you with Midlands roots, might also be interested. The thumbnail image shows the shop in Wednesbury where our Nana was born in 1895. It was taken around the time she was born and has Grandma Lavender outside the shoe-shop she ran for her brother. She's in black because she is mourning the death of her husband Tom who never saw his youngest child. The kids include some of Nana's 10 brothers and sisters. It must have been very crowded at 25 Union Street as there were only four rooms in total including the shop! The film itself dates from the 1960s and provides an evocative insight into the Black Country.
