George Trains

We visited the Transport Museum, a haven for train and car enthusiasts. The museum showcased an impressive collection of historic trains, including the renowned Outeniqua Express. We were captivated by the array of vintage cars, such as the 1948 Plymouth and the 1934 Ford Roadster, and of course, Riki's favourite the MG Midget which took us on a nostalgic journey through the evolution of transportation. Being situated in an authentic train station, we had the unique opportunity to explore the exhibits up close and immerse ourselves in the rich history of South African railways. From model trains to old railway signs, the museum offered a captivating experience that left a lasting impression on us.
