STORY ►
This house used to belong to misses Maria-Jose and her husband Jef, they were married for a very long time and ran a traditional Belgian farm together. After her beloved husband, Jef passed away maria found herself alone in the house and grew ever more reluctant to do something about it. After hearing about the refugee crisis that was going on in Europa at the time she decided to help out and open her house to shelter Syrian men who had to run from war. He lived together with her in the house, he cared for her and brought back some joy in her life. Inside of the place, we found pictures of them together having what it seemed like great fun! After Maria passed away from old age the Syrian man moved out and went to live somewhere else, her son never came back to reclaim the items inside or sell the property and now it lays abandoned ever since.
