The Kiowa Gourd Dance is the traditional dance of the Ta-Pe-Go Warrior Society which was one of several men's societies in the Kiowa Tribe. The word Tiah-pe-go refers in the past to two
words, a bush called SKUNKBERRY and a BRAVE.
