South Korea's Insane Plan To Survive #population #southkorea #fertility #inflation

While global eyes are on South Korea’s historic fertility rate collapse (dropping below 0.72), the warning signs for developing nations like India are deeper than they appear. India’s Total Fertility Rate (TFR) has already dipped below the replacement level of 2.1, settling at 2.0.
What does this mean? Our population isn't just growing blindly; our median age is rapidly shifting.
Without aggressive structural reforms, an upgraded education framework, and massive employment generation, India faces a massive demographic trap. If our youth cannot secure high-value jobs during this limited window, we face the risk of transforming from a vibrant young nation directly into a stagnant, aging population—stuck in a developing-nation trap.
Democracy and high GDP growth metrics look great on paper, but policy design dictates the future.
